WHO WE ARE

ISIDIMA Housing Development (NPC) is a Not-for-Profit Company dedicated to transforming lives in South Africa by creating dignified, safe, and secure homes where families can thrive. We focus on restoring and improving homes built under the Integrated Serviced Land Programme (iSLP) in the Western Cape, prioritizing skilled labor, increased funding, and stakeholder collaboration to build a better future for our communities.

Inspired by the iSLP’s holistic approach, we go beyond simply providing housing. We believe in integrated development, addressing the need for education, health, economic opportunity, and human development alongside housing initiatives. This ensures long-term, sustainable results and empowers communities to break the cycle of poverty. Through our integrated construction services and sustainable housing solutions, we strive to create a sense of stability, unity, and well-being in these under-served areas incl. Delft, Eisleben, Samora Machel, Phillippi East, and Khayelitsha.

our mission

At ISIDIMA Housing Development, we are driven by a deep commitment to improving lives and building stronger communities through access to safe, dignified, and sustainable housing. Our mission is multifaceted, encompassing not only the physical construction of homes but also the empowerment of individuals and the creation of opportunities for growth and prosperity.

Delivering Quality Housing

We are dedicated to rebuilding and restoring homes, particularly those constructed under the Integrated Serviced Land Programme (iSLP) that were left incomplete or built with substandard materials. Our goal is to provide families with safe, comfortable, and dignified living spaces that they can truly call home.

Creating Job Opportunities

We believe in empowering individuals and communities through economic opportunities. Our projects create numerous jobs in both skilled and unskilled labor sectors, providing sustainable livelihoods and contributing to the growth of the local economy. We are especially committed to training young men and women in valuable construction skills, equipping them for a brighter future.

Improving Lives:

By upgrading housing conditions and providing access to essential amenities, we strive to improve the overall well-being of families and communities. We believe that safe and secure housing is the foundation for a better life, leading to improved health outcomes, enhanced educational opportunities, and increased social cohesion.
